MERSEYSIDE - some of the grants we made in 2010-2011:

£5,000 a year for 2 years to a black and ethnic minority organisation towards salary of an Administration Support Officer
- £4,568 a year for 3 years to an organisation in Wirral for emotional and psychological support & training for carers
- £1,500 to a community organisation towards the cost of production of a publicity brochure for their centre
- £4,501 to a disabled people support group in West Lancashire towards personalised help for people with learning disabilities
- £7,000 for a book recycling project supporting homeless and disadvantaged people across Merseyside
- £5,000 a year for 3 years to an organisation supporting disabled people in Liverpool towards salary costs
- £4,917 to a women's support group in Sefton towards running costs of a counselling project
- £2,785 to a black and ethnic minority organisation in Liverpool for running costs of homework and after school club for Somali children
- £3,500 to a community organisation for elders’ lunch club
- £2,309 to a family support centre for the cost of a parenting course for the Family Worker
- £3,000 a year for 3 years to an organisation working with young people in Ellesmere Port towards running costs of the Junior Youth Club and salaries for two Groups Leaders
- £10,000 to a food distribution centre in Speke working with organisations supporting the homeless and other people in need on Merseyside
NORTHERN IRELAND - some of the grants we made in 2010-2011:
- £2,895 per year for 2 years to a Chinese welfare association to pay for tutor fees and course expenses for Mandarin classes
- £2,000 to a community childcare group for equipment and running costs of a pre-school
- £1,822 per year for 2 years to a group in Belfast for volunteer training and development project
- £5,000 to a Social Welfare Advice Centre towards a dedicated drop-in, information and resource centre in Newry City
- £4,500 to a project supporting women in the Willowfield area for costs of running a healthy eating and exercise programme for parents
- £4,000 per annum for 2 years to a group working with disabled people for an equality training programme for people with learning difficulties
- £1,300 to a social club to pay for tutor fees and course materials
- £5,000 to a confederation of community group towards delivering training for community groups
